Mary is a Chartered Physiotherapist and Licensed Acupuncturist whose name is synonymous with the delivery of gold-standard physiotherapy throughout Cork.
You may remember Mary from City Physiotherapy (above Eganʼs Opticians, Lavittʼs Quay).
Professional physiotherapy qualifications and memberships:
- Member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists
- Accredited in Spinal Manipulation by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy in London
- Member of the Irish Orthopaedic Medicine Society
- Licentiate in Acupuncture in Diploma in Health Science from UCD
Sarah Vickery
Sarah has moved back from Sydney to Ireland recently and has been working in private practice since graduating. Mostly recently Sarah was working in a highly established Spinal clinic in Bondi and has returned to private practice here in Cork.
She completed her Sport and Exercise Science degree with first class honours at the University of Limerick, from which she developed a strong interest in exercise and rehabilitation. She continued to complete a master’s in physiotherapy at the Robert Gordon University Scotland and graduated in 2018.
Sarah has worked in multiple private practices since graduating assisting in management and mentorship roles at her previous clinic in Ireland also.
Sarah has a keen interest in the latest research and continues to develop both a hands on and exercise prescription and holistic approach. She has a wide range of experience and
since has developed a special interest in spinal pain, musculoskeletal injuries, sporting injuries and post-natal return to running rehabilitation.
She has trained with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates institute to become a fully certified APPI clinical Pilates instructor in Matwork and equipment. Further to this she has completed her 200 hour Yoga teacher training in Greece and continues to use these skills in both an exercise and rehabilitation setting.
